The Hastings Angler’s Club, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the 2008 Commonwealth Fly Fishing Championships.

The biannual event is expected to attract teams from around the Commonwealth for the two day competition early in April 2008.

Teams are expected from countries such as England, Scotland, Wales, South Africa, Canada, Isle of Man, Australia and New Zealand.

Competition beats will be based around the Tuki Tuki River and its associated feeder streams, such as the Waipawa.
